Joan Dentler, MBA, has spent the past fifteen years consulting for, developing and operating successful ambulatory surgery centers in twenty-six (26) states. Ms. Dentler worked with clients providing direct services such as, feasibility analysis, project design, partnership development, day to day management, physician recruitment and multi-disciplinary ASC troubleshooting. Through these activities, she has personally conducted hundreds of interviews with surgeons to determine physician preferences in both the structure and operations of ambulatory surgery centers and hospital surgical service delivery.
Ms. Dentler has co-authored articles related to joint ventured ambulatory surgery centers and spoken at numerous conferences focusing on ambulatory surgery, including repeated appearances at the American Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers and Same Day Surgery annual conferences. Ms. Dentler has worked for over twenty-five years in health care administration including serving as hospital liaison for hospital/physician joint ventured surgery centers, administrator of both women’s health and pediatric primary care facilities. She holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas.
Joan serves on the Editorial Board of Outpatient Surgery Magazine.
