Initially we will provide you with a quick analysis based on our years of experience in the ambulatory surgery industry that will allow you to determine if you should go forward with your project. We will examine variables such as, projected caseload, case mix, payer mix, the most effective and efficient facility size and scope, and determine verifiable and realistic revenue and expense projections. Our model is based on your response to a request for information that is sent to you upon engagement. After analysis of projected revenues and costs, we will provide you with our recommendation as to the economic feasibility of your project. This assessment can typically be done without the need to incur the additional expense of an on-site visit, however if such a visit becomes necessary, then those fees can be separately determined.

Once you have determined that your project is viable, the next step is to develop a business plan that will identify and explore the variables that will affect your project’s profitability, timing and competitiveness. It is critical that prior to any significant expenditure is made you have an objective assessment of the risks and rewards of pursuing your project. Our complete feasibility analysis will review the components that are critical to the success of a surgery center project including, share price, revenue and income projections, equipment, supply and staffing needs and partner operational preferences, individual investment goals, risk tolerance and level of interest in governance and operational control. The final report will help you design a partnership that will attract (and keep) the most valued investors. This analysis includes interviews with key stakeholders, a location review, a thorough assessment of volume, case, payer mix and expense requirements as well as a review of regulatory requirements and payer issues important to your success. We will also assist you in determining the most effective and efficient facility size and scope, specialty mix, number of investors, share price, debt and equity combination. The final report will include our general recommendations for enhancing profitability and realizing operational efficiency of your project. At your request, a presentation of the analysis findings can be delivered to the appropriate decision makers or potential investors.
