Our Assessment is a comprehensive, objective assessment for Surgery Centers, highlighting the successes and uncovering the areas in need of improvement. The Assessment can help you identify the key issues behind factors which may be impacting profitability or utilization and focus your resources effectively.
We recommend Assessments to all Surgery Centers that have been operational for a minimum of one year, but they can be particularly helpful for:

• Centers with equity or hospital partners whose board members and senior leadership need a periodic objective review of the status of operations of the Center.
• Centers where the revenue or profits have declined and leadership needs to address the real causes of those declines quickly and successfully.
• Centers where there has been a change in management or staff and there is a need to assess operations and develop a clear plan of action.
• Centers which are considering courting an equity partner, as a tool to ensure the highest valuation possible.

The Operational Assessment is the only tool of its kind that can provide Center investors and leadership with the information they need to better manage their facility; allowing for an efficient and effective deployment of resources. At your request, we can assist you with follow up after the Assessment or implementation can be done solely by Center staff—ASC Strategies does not require a long term engagement.
